Al-Busaiteen crowned champions of the Youth and Junior Track and Field Championships

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdul Latif bin Jalal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Athletics Association, the Clubs Track and Field Championships for the Junior and Youth categories for the 2025-2026 sports season were held over the past two days, Saturday and Sunday, at Khalifa Sports City Stadium.
The results of the youth category competition, which included four clubs (Al-Hala, Al-Shabab, Al-Busaiteen, and Al-Ahli), saw Al-Busaiteen Club take first place in the overall medal standings with 19 medals: 10 gold, 8 silver, and 1 bronze. Al-Ahli Club came in second with 7 medals: 2 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze. Al-Shabab Club finished third with 8 medals: 1 silver, 3 silver, and 4 bronze. Al-Hala Club secured fourth place with 4 bronze medals.
The clubs' athletes competed in the following events: high jump, 110m hurdles, 400m, 100m, 1500m, 4x100m relay, long jump, 400m hurdles, 800m, 200m, 3000m, and 4x400m relay.
In the junior category, which included four clubs (Al-Hala, Al-Shabab, Al-Busaiteen, and Al-Ahli), Al-Busaiteen Club took first place with nine medals: two gold, three silver, and four bronze. Al-Shabab Club came in second with six medals: two gold, three silver, and one bronze. Al-Hala Club finished third with one gold and one bronze medal, while Al-Ahli Club came in fourth with one gold medal.
The club athletes competed in the 100-meter dash, 100-meter hurdles, long jump, high jump, and 250-meter hurdles.
Following the competitions, board members Mohammed Ali Ahmed, Bader Nasser Mohammed, Ruqaya Al-Ghasra, and Mohammed Al-Mahmeed, along with the Secretary-General of the Federation, Yousef Ahmed, and the Director of National Teams, Mohammed Abdulaziz, presented the awards to the winners.
