The Bahrain national athletics team departed for Egypt to participate in the 3rd Arab Athletics Championships for Under-23 and the 1st Arab Athletics Championships for Under-16, which will be held from July 18 to 24, 2026, with wide participation from Arab national teams. This participation comes as part of the Bahrain Athletics Association's efforts to enhance the Kingdom's presence in regional championships and provide opportunities for athletes to gain experience and compete, thus contributing to the development of their technical skills and preparing them for future events.
