In her second race this season, Olympic champion Winfried Yavi delivered an outstanding performance, winning first place in the “Memorial Elisa Migliori” cross country race



In her second race of the season, Olympic champion Winfred Yavi delivered a stellar performance, securing first place in the Memorial Elisa Migliori Cross Country race held in Alla di Sarde, Italy (6 km race) with a time of 20:37 minutes. She finished ahead of Burundi's Francine Niyomkonzi (21:40 minutes) and Great Britain's Emily Colling (22:21 minutes).


Yavi, the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalist in the 3000m steeplechase and a long-distance runner, demonstrated her readiness to compete strongly in various championships this season, most notably the Asian Games to be held in Nagoya, Japan, next September.
