Bahraini runner Rose Chelimo secured third place in the Osaka Marathon in Japan with a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes, and 52 seconds, completing the podium trio in a race characterized by excitement and close competition until the final kilometers. Ethiopian runner Mare Dibaba won the race after a remarkable performance, finishing the distance in 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 44 seconds. Kenyan runner Esther Chemtai came in second, just 20 seconds behind, with a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes, and 4 seconds.
