Bahrain Athletics Association Signs Partnership Agreement with Al Hilal Medical Group


The Bahrain Athletics Association signed a partnership agreement with Al Hilal Medical Group to enhance cooperation in medical and healthcare services for athletes, coaches, and all association staff. This agreement aims to strengthen ties between the three parties and foster community partnership, aligning with the principle of integrated national efforts for community development and keeping pace with the sporting renaissance and its desired goals.


The agreement was signed in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Bin Jalal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Athletics Association, and Dr. Sharat Chandran, CEO of Al Hilal Medical Group. Both parties emphasized the importance of this partnership in enhancing the quality of medical services provided to members of the Athletics Association and supporting participation in local and international championships.


His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdul Latif bin Jalal expressed his great pride in this step, which reflects the support of national health institutions for the sports sector and their active role in advancing the Kingdom's various sporting achievements. He commended Al Hilal Medical Group for providing high-quality healthcare services that contribute to empowering and continuously supporting athletes and members of sports organizations.


Bin Jalal noted the Athletics Federation's commitment to building integrated relationships with various sectors, especially the health sector, in line with its commitment to social responsibility and expanding access to the services offered by the Kingdom's leading medical centers, particularly Al Hilal Medical Group. He praised Al Hilal Group's role in adopting impactful initiatives aimed at achieving noble goals and aspirations.


For his part, Dr. Sharat Chandran, CEO of Al Hilal Medical Group, expressed his delight at the constructive and fruitful cooperation with the Bahrain Athletics Association, stressing that this initiative comes as an extension of the group’s efforts in supporting various national programs, which reflects its vision of promoting solidarity and contributing to sustainable development. He praised the good efforts of the company and the association in the sports field in the Kingdom of Bahrain and their active role in achieving outstanding successes, gains and remarkable achievements.
