Bahrain Anti-Doping Agency
The Bahrain Anti-Doping Agency (B-NADO) is the competent and independent authority responsible for implementing the provisions of the International Code of Conduct for Combating Doping in Sports. It is internationally recognized by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to carry out anti-doping tasks at the national level.
The Agency is responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising the general policy related to anti-doping in sports. It also supervises and monitors the work and activities of doping control in all sports organizations in the Kingdom.
It also supervises the implementation of awareness and monitoring programs for all sports personnel in the Kingdom, including athletes and supporting sports staff, in all sports organizations. It cooperates with local, regional, and international bodies and entities concerned with combating doping in sports. It also establishes and forms anti-doping committees and supervises their work.
