World Athletics Championships - Tokyo
13 September, 2025 – 21 September , 2025
The 2025 World Athletics Championships took place in Tokyo, Japan from September 13 to September 21, 2025.
The competition featured many of the world’s top track-and-field athletes, with standout performances across sprints, middle- and long-distance running, hurdles, steeplechase, jumps, and more. The championship included tense finals, record-breaking runs, and a dramatic display of global athletic talent. For many nations it was a test of depth, endurance, and speed on the track and in field events.
Bahrain sent a small but effective team: eight athletes in total (1 man and 7 women).
Despite the modest size of its delegation, Bahrain managed to leave Tokyo with two medals — a silver and a bronze — finishing ranked 25th overall.
